I’ve recently updated the information for this course, the only one I’m doing in the States in 2011. It seems that the recession has hit pianists as hard or harder than everybody else, and we’ve decided to make registering easier by offering partial scholarships. Here’s the blurb I just added to the site:
CASES OF FINANCIAL NEED
Times are tough, pockets are not as deep as they once were. We would like every pianist who truly desires it to have the opportunity to attend this exciting and empowering event. Alan Fraser’s long-standing policy is never to refuse a student because of financial concerns. Therefore we are offering partial scholarships to those who would like to attend but have been reluctant to register because of the financial barriers. So, dig into your pockets! They’re not so deep now; it’s easier to find that loose change jangling around the bottom of it!
